Robert Half is working with a business based in Cambridge to recruit a Management Accountant to join its finance team.
Operating in a fast-developing sector, the business offers an opportunity to join an organisation with plenty happening, alongside exposure to a wider group business and the broader financial and commercial picture that comes with it.
The role would suit a part-qualified, finalist or qualified-by-experience Management Accountant looking to build on their existing experience and take on a position with scope to develop.
The Role
Support the production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
Analyse financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Work closely with colleagues across the business to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
Contribute to the wider finance function, with exposure to group-level reporting and processes.
Support the ongoing improvement of financial controls, processes and reporting.
The Ideal Candidate
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role and are comfortable working with financial information to support business performance.
You could be part-qualified, studying towards your final qualification exams, or qualified by experience. Previous industry experience would be beneficial, alongside a hands-on approach, good analytical skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business.
