Description
The key responsibilities of this Senior Finance Assistant role will be: Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Performing bank, supplier and balance sheet reconciliations.Assisting with month-end close activities.Supporting the production of management information.Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.Investigating and resolving finance-related queries.Supporting cash allocation and credit control activities.Assisting with audit preparation and compliance requirements.Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes.Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team.
Profile
The successful Senior Finance Assistant should have: Previous experience in a Senior Finance Assistant or similar finance role.Strong knowledge of transactional finance processes.Experience supporting month-end activities and reconciliations.Good Excel skills, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.Experience working within an accountancy or finance function.
