We're recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a highly regarded professional services organisation in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a varied debtor ledger, work closely with clients and stakeholders, and play a key role in driving cash collection performance.
What You'll Be Doing
• Managing and collecting outstanding debt
• Building strong client relationships while achieving collection targets
• Resolving invoice queries and payment disputes
• Producing reconciliations, reports and management information
• Monitoring aged debt and proactively reducing debtor balances
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to support effective collections
What We're Looking For
• Previous credit control experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Confidence managing a busy and varied ledger
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills
• Professional telephone manner
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
