Hays are partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation based in Newquay to recruit a Finance Coordinator on an ongoing temporary basis.

Your new role
As a Finance Coordinator, you'll provide essential support across a broad range of finance activities while working closely with the Finance Manager and wider business.Responsibilities will include:
Managing supplier relationships and resolving invoice queriesCoordinating weekly and monthly payment runsReconciling supplier statements and bank accountsAssisting with cashflow reporting and forecastingSupporting month-end activities, including journals and reconciliationsProducing financial reports and analysis for managementMonitoring outstanding payments and investigating discrepanciesSupporting finance process improvements and controlsAssisting with ad-hoc finance projects as required
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience in a finance or accounts position and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment. You'll ideally have:
Experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Coordinator, Accounts Payable or Finance Assistant roleStrong reconciliation and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailGood working knowledge of Excel and finance systemsStrong organisational and communication skillsA proactive approach and willingness to support the wider teamThe ability to manage competing priorities effectively
