We are urgently looking for an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join an established construction business based in Ross-on-Wye on a temporary basis.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced finance professional who can step into a busy Finance function and make an immediate impact.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will oversee and support the day-to-day finance operation, with responsibility across:
Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableSupplier payments and reconciliationsBanking and bank reconciliationsSales invoicing and cash allocationMonth-end and year-end supportFinancial reporting and KPIsMaintaining strong financial controls and audit trailsSupervising, coaching and supporting Accounts AssistantsReviewing and improving finance processes and procedures About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is confident supervising a finance team.
You will ideally have:
Strong experience across AP, AR, banking and expensesPrevious experience supervising or managing finance staffExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong Excel and ERP experienceExperience with month-end and year-end processesGood financial analysis and data manipulation skillsExcellent communication skillsA proactive, hands-on approachAAT qualification would be advantageousExperience within construction would be desirable For further information, please contact Rhian Mountjoy
