Your new role
As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering financial reporting and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information. You will be involved in leading monthly and year-end reporting activities, statutory accounting and finance projects, while partnering with operational teams to provide meaningful financial insight. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing month-end and year-end financial reporting activitiesSupporting statutory accounts, compliance and audit requirementsProducing financial analysis and performance reporting for stakeholdersSupporting tax and VAT compliance processesIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiencyContributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives What you'll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA qualificationPrevious experience within a financial accounting, statutory accounting or reporting-focused roleStrong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detailExperience working with ERP systems such as SAP would be advantageousAdvanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret financial informationStrong communication skills with the confidence to work across multiple stakeholder groupsA proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team What you'll get in return
