Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is seeking a dependable, compassionate Full-Time Kennel Assistant to support our veterinary team at our Marietta, GA location. Working alongside veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistants, you’ll help care for hospitalized patients and maintain a clean, safe, and organized emergency and specialty veterinary hospital. Animal Care: Provide food, water, clean bedding, litter box maintenance, and comfort for hospitalized animals as directed. Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, runs, treatment areas, equipment, floors, and common spaces while following infection-control protocols. Laundry and Supplies: Wash and distribute hospital laundry, restock supplies, and maintain organized patient and storage areas. Patient Support: Safely handle and transport dogs and cats as directed by the clinical team; observe patient behavior and promptly report concerns. Hospital Operations: Follow cleaning checklists, maintain safe walkways, address spills, and communicate supply shortages, equipment issues, and competing priorities.
