Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Machinist II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Machinist II will perform machine setups, tool changes, and make adjustments as necessary. This position is available on Third Shift (10:00PM – 6:30AM) with a base pay range of $24/hr. - $35/hr. plus a $.75/hr. shift differential. Overtime may be required as needed. (Pay range will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits. $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) What you will do Operate machine according to standard operating instructions Operate machine(s) safely and communicate any problems which arise to the supervisor/lead person Perform machine setups, tool changes, making adjustments as necessary Monitor, maintain, weigh, and safely add chemicals as required Ability to operate/run multiple machines simultaneously What we require High school diploma or equivalent Extensive machine operating experience including setups, tool changes, etc. Experience using precision measuring instruments Ability to perform advanced quality inspections Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
