Total Group of Companies is currently looking for Safety Advisors for a restoration project around Summerland, B.C. Position Overview Safety Advisors support field crews, contractors, and client representatives by helping maintain safe work practices, identifying hazards, supporting site safety requirements, and promoting a positive safety culture. Work may take place in industrial, construction, restoration, turnaround, or remote project environments. Responsibilities may include: Supporting site personnel with daily safety expectations and safe work practices Completing site safety observations, inspections, and hazard assessments Assisting with orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings Monitoring work activities for compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements Supporting incident, near-miss, and hazard reporting processes Reviewing documentation such as FLHAs, permits, JHAs, and safety paperwork Communicating professionally with workers, supervisors, and client representatives Promoting a positive, proactive, and solutions-focused safety culture
