We are hiring a Software Engineer – ATM Surveillance Data Processing to strengthen our client’s team based in Geneva . You will contribute to the modernization of mission-critical Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems, with a strong focus on surveillance data processing. Working within an Agile and highly regulated environment, you will help transform legacy applications into a modern service-oriented architecture while ensuring high standards of reliability, quality and performance. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the modernization and decomposition of a large-scale legacy system supporting ATM surveillance operations. Design, develop and maintain reliable, high-availability back-end solutions using Java and modern software engineering practices. Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approaches throughout the development lifecycle. Build and maintain automated testing solutions, particularly using Java and Cucumber. Analyse operational and user requirements and translate them into clear software requirements and technical solutions. Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including software and system requirements, design documentation, test specifications and traceability records. Participate in verification and validation activities, including test preparation, execution, reporting, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Support certification, quality and compliance activities while contributing to continuous improvements in engineering processes and automation.
