Translate the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the web applicationTake ownership of all front-end development and Shopify configurations for multiple storefronts across a global brandDevelop new user-facing features for enterprise desktop applications, mobile, tabletCollaborate with design team members to shape user experiences that utilize the latest technology, tools, and techniquesBuild and leverage reusable code and librariesOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityCollaborate with other team members and stakeholders in dev, product and UXExperience turning PSD's into pixel-perfect webpages General experience building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores, as well as general knowledge of the admin systemDemonstrable expertise with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, in-depth understanding of DOMExperience with Shopify’s theming system and Liquid templatingExperience with CSS pre and post-processors - specially SassASSExperience with build tools such as webpack and rollupExperience with dependency management tools (NPM, Browserify, RequireJS, etc)Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom solutions if necessaryThorough understanding and experience with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and modern JavaScript frameworks - specifically PreactThorough understanding of Git and workflow processes (e.g. GitFlow)Experience with Shopify’s object/properties, AJAX API, and MetafieldsThorough testing and debugging skills with browser console and external toolsExperience developing for responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobileExperience working with 3rd party services and APIs, specifically plugins for ShopifyAble to prioritize your own tasks and dependenciesAbility to communicate well, giving proactive feedback to peers, team, and managerGood organizational skillsAppreciation for design and motionTypically 5 to 7 years experience of web developmentAt least 2+ year experience working with the Shopify platform All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
