What will you do?
Warehouse & Logistics Operations Management
Manage warehousing, staging, delivery, and shipping functions and teamsOrganize and manage all logistics and administrative activities for smooth departmental operationsEnsure maintenance of operating equipment including engraver, reach truck, and CCTV systemsPlan and conduct internal stock counts; assist Finance with annual stock audit in MarchWork with Project Finance on non-stock inventory management and generate mid and month-end balance reportsOversee selected services for Bedok Office (e.g., copier and drinking water supplies) in coordination with Corporate AdminProcess Improvement & Digital Innovation
Review and assess existing processes, systems, and workflows so as to drive innovation initiatives to modernize warehouse operations and adopt best practicesLeverage technology solutions including micro tools, automation, and AI-powered tools to enhance operational efficiencyDesign, build, or implement digital tools and solutions to streamline warehouse operationsReview and revise processes and procedures regularly for workflow optimization and continuous improvementEnsure quotes and comparisons for logistics machinery and equipment comply with company policyProcess Statements of Work (SOW) for warehousing, staging, delivery, and shipping outsourcingImplement and maintain quality control procedures across all warehouse operationsStakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Project Teams, Purchaser, Finance, and DSO teams on additional requests (space, new plant, storage locations, etc.)Foster teamwork to meet requirements of internal customers (project teams)Process Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for delivery services for internal customersProcess Goods Receipt Slips (GRS) for Singtel Projects delivered to Bedok warehouseCoordinate Security Clearance requirements for client projectsTeam Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse team membersManage staff performance with regular reviews and feedback sessionsHandle staff recruitment and workforce planningServe as Time-Log administrator: create and review tasks assigned to team membersRequest and update SAP Financial System access for team membersUpdate Corporate Admin on personnel processing Goods Receipts (GRs) for insurance purposesFoster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the teamFinancial Management & Approvals
Approve all invoices for local deliveries and freight charges for both NCS and SingtelAssist in preparing and managing the Logistics budgetMonitor costs and drive optimization initiativesShipping & Regulatory Compliance
Manage IMDA license renewalsRequest changes for freight forwarders via customsEnsure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirementsEnvironment, Health & Safety (EHS) Leadership
Serve as appointed Floor In-charge for EHSReview, update, and implement Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) safety requirements including Risk AssessmentsSupport NCS Safety Officer with updates, audits, and activities related to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificationConduct monthly Toolbox meetings to ensure team members are well-aware of work safety requirementsMaintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsBusiness Continuity & Crisis Management
Coordinate Business Continuity Plan and pandemic response measures as requiredDevelop and maintain contingency plans for operational resilience The ideal candidate should:
Have Diploma or Degree in Supply Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of warehouse and logistics management experience. Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and IMDA licensing requirements.Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and SAP Financial System.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify process inefficiencies and design solutions.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with SAP / Warehousing / Inventory / Delivery / Shipping knowledge.
