About this role
The Developer will be part of a product team of designers and full-stack developers (Java back-end) developing a web and mobile application for use by the Front Line Associates & Managers in the field.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead products through iterative design, development, and deliveryMaintain a user-centered approach in design & development perspective and practiceWork as a collaborative team member with internal customers, designers, and fellow engineerApply best practice approaches and guide the product team through the processRapidly iterate on prototypes and working applications Requirements:
Have experience with and curiosity of Agile and Lean philosophiesExperience working with small teams to ship products to marketHave experience developing full-service consumer, employee, and business applicationsExperience with designing and refactoring complex systemsLanguage agnostic and experienced polyglotPassion for Working Software and SOLID principlesExperience with Test Driven Development (TDD)Interest in working in a pair-programming environment3-5 years of experience working with Java/KotlinExperience with Spring Boot, and API designFundamental understanding and experience working with JPA dataWorking knowledge of Message Brokers and Messaging subsystems (experience working with Kafka a strong plus)Strong understanding of best practices creating/working with Micro-services3-5 years’ experience or equivalent in software developmentDeep understanding of design patterns and applying them in production environmentsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science discipline (preferred, but not required)Passion for enabling team members All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
