About this role
The Funding Specialist is responsible for the review of closing packages to ensure loans are fully compliant before initiating a wire to fund and/or purchase loans. This position is located in our Paramus, NJ Headquarters, this is not a remote role.
Primary Job Duties:
Utilize checklist to complete pre-funding / pre-purchase review of closing documentsCommunicate with inside staff, loan officers, settlement agents and lenders to ensure loans are funded and purchased in a timely mannerDetermine all underwriting pre-funding and pre-purchase conditions have been satisfiedMaintain data integrity of LOS fieldsVerify and balance wire amounts for daily reconciliationCoordinate with settlement agents to ensure loans are fully disbursed
