We're supporting a well-established organisation as they continue to invest in the development and modernisation of a number of business-critical systems.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Developer who wants to remain highly hands-on while also taking on technical leadership responsibilities. You'll join a collaborative development team, helping to deliver new functionality, modernise existing applications, and support the evolution of the organisation's Microsoft technology estate.
The role offers a genuine blend of software engineering, solution design and mentorship, with around 70-80% of your time spent coding and building solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing and developing business-critical applications using Microsoft technologiesBuilding and enhancing solutions across .NET, Dynamics 365, Azure and the Power PlatformDeveloping integrations, workflows and automations that improve business processesWorking closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutionsSupporting CI/CD pipelines and modern development practicesContributing to technical design and architectural decisionsMentoring and supporting junior developers within the teamHelping to drive best practice across development standards, code quality and delivery Key Projects
Over the next 6-12 months you'll be involved in several high-profile initiatives, including:
Modernisation of legacy business systemsMigration of complex workflows into Microsoft-based platformsDevelopment of new CRM and business process solutionsAutomation and reporting improvements across multiple business areas
About You
We're interested in speaking with experienced software developers who can combine strong engineering skills with a broader understanding of Microsoft's technology stack.
You'll likely have experience in:
C# and .NET developmentMicrosoft AzureCI/CD and modern software delivery practicesJavaScript and web technologiesMicrosoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform technologiesDesigning and developing enterprise-scale business applications You'll also enjoy mentoring others and helping less experienced developers grow their technical capability.
