Job Title: Dispatch & Warehouse Operative.
Location: Harlow
Working Hours:
- Employed to work 37.5 hours per week.
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 (lunch 1 hour).
- Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (lunch 30 mins).
Pay Rate: £12.71 ph - £13.50 ph depending on experience
Job Description:
Assisting with all aspects of warehouse and distribution support.
To be responsible for the safe handling of goods, the accurate picking, packing and shipping of products in
accordance with received customer orders. This includes ensuring that products are not damaged.
To operate various forms of mechanical handling equipment, such as pallet trucks, lifting tables & trollies.
Operating PC's and PDA scanners for warehouse and courier shipping systems.
Assisting the company vehicle fleet and external couriers with loading. Expected to carry out any other work
within the warehouse as required by a supervisor, work colleagues, or the management
Skills & experienc?:
Warehouse operations & manual handling.
Order picking, packing & shipping.
IT literate: PC & PDA scanners for warehouse management system & external courier shipping systems.
Experience with couriers such as DPD & DX Delivery, etc.
A reasonable knowledge of UK places, cities & towns.
Teamwork & communication working in small teams.
Health & Safety compliance.
