About this role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Drop Transport Planner to join a busy transport operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating daily multi-drop deliveries, maximising vehicle utilisation and ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and optimise daily multi-drop delivery routes.Maximise vehicle utilisation and operational efficiency.Liaise with drivers, customers and warehouse teams.Monitor delivery performance and resolve service issues.Manage last-minute changes, delays and additional collection requests.Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport regulations.Maintain accurate records and update transport management systems. Minimum 2 years' experience in transport planning.Good knowledge of the UK road network and multi-drop operations.Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Experience using transport management systems is desirable.
