Your new company
A well-established regional housebuilder is looking for an experienced Gateman / Traffic Marshall to support a busy new build housing development in Carlisle. This is a short-term freelance assignment for approximately two weeks, with an immediate start available.
Your new role Working closely with the Site Management team, you will be responsible for maintaining site security, controlling access and ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians across the development.
Key duties will include:
Managing the site entrance and access pointGreeting and signing in visitors and deliveriesDirecting site traffic and delivery vehicles safelyMaintaining accurate site records and visitor logsMonitoring site security throughout the working daySupporting the site team with general health and safety requirements What you'll need to succeed
Valid CSCS CardTraffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification preferredPrevious experience working on a construction siteGood communication skills and a professional mannerReliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach What you'll get in return
