FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established and growing logistics business with the recruitment of a Business Development Executive - Logistics.
Permanent, full-time position based in Hazel Grove, Greater Manchester.
Salary
From £35,000 basic salary, depending on experience + highly attractive uncapped commission / bonus
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new customers through proactive B2B sales activityGenerate new business across road freight, logistics and transport servicesBuild and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customersUnderstand customer requirements and provide suitable freight solutionsManage customer bookings from initial enquiry through to completionPrepare quotations and follow up opportunities to convert new businessDevelop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further growthWork closely with operations teams to ensure shipments are managed smoothlyMaintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline activityWork towards and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets Skills & Experience Requirements
Previous experience within B2B sales, business development or account managementRoad freight, transport or logistics experience would be highly advantageousProven ability to generate new business and close salesStrong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skillsCommercially minded and target-drivenConfident dealing with customers by telephone and emailStrong organisation and ability to manage multiple accountsMotivated by earning potential and uncapped commission Benefits
