Finance Analyst
Location: Derby (hybrid
Duration: 12-months (Likely to be extended)
Day rate: £450 p/d inside ir35 (via umbrella)
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a leading global engineering and technology organisation in Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Civil finance function, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting and period-end activities. You’ll work closely with finance teams and key stakeholders across the business, contributing to financial control, analysis and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quarterly FX revaluation for the UK business.Produce FX reporting for external auditors, Group Finance and key stakeholders.Prepare period-end journals covering operating costs, recharges and central accruals.Conduct balance sheet reviews, analysing movements and presenting findings.Support the Finance Control Team with financial queries and requests.Contribute to finance projects, investigations and process improvement initiatives.Deliver accurate, high-quality analysis within challenging deadlines.
About You
You’ll be a qualified finance professional with:
CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification.At least 3 years’ finance experience.Practical experience in FX reporting and revaluation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.Strong stakeholder communication skills.Strong Excel skills.Experience with SAP and HFM.
