Qlik Sense Developer Contract Financial Services Location: London Working: 5 days/week in office Rate: Up to £550 p/d (inside ir35 via umbrella)
The Role
Joining an established technology team within a global financial services organisation, working on critical operational and regulatory reporting solutions.You'll develop and enhance reporting applications using Qlik Sense, NPrinting and SQL, supporting business functions across the organisation.The role will focus on building dashboards, improving existing reporting solutions and working with data held in Oracle databases, including reporting requirements relating to MiFID.Working closely with developers and business analysts, you'll help translate business requirements into effective, reliable reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reporting applications using Qlik SenseBuild and maintain reports using NPrintingWrite and optimise complex SQL queries, including multi-table joinsWork with Oracle databases and existing stored procedures to support reporting requirementsEnhance existing reporting solutions and develop new dashboards as business needs evolveTroubleshoot reporting issues and investigate data discrepanciesCollaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver effective solutionsEnsure reporting outputs are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose Key Requirements
7–10 years' experience in Qlik Development / Business IntelligenceStrong hands-on experience with Qlik SenseExperience developing and maintaining reports using NPrintingStrong SQL skills, including complex joins and query optimisationExperience working with Oracle databases beneficialStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable working with technical teams and engaging with stakeholders to clarify requirementsFinancial services or regulatory reporting experience advantageous, particularly MiFID No sponsorship available.
