This is a full-time, ongoing position starting ASAP, offering an excellent opportunity to support students studying Psychology at A Level.

Position Details Job Title: KS5 Psychology TeacherLocation: Rossendale area, LancashireStart Date: ASAPContract Type: Full-time, ongoingDaily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68, depending on experience About the Psychology Teacher Role Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons at KS5/A LevelTeach key psychological theories, approaches, research methods and studiesPrepare students for assessments and examinationsDevelop students' critical thinking, analytical and evaluation skillsPlan lessons that meet a range of abilities and learning needsAssess student progress and provide constructive feedbackMaintain a positive and purposeful classroom environmentWork collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement The Ideal Psychology Teacher Will Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualificationHave experience teaching Psychology at KS5/A LevelHave a strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Psychology curriculumBe confident planning and delivering engaging lessonsDemonstrate effective classroom management and communication skillsBe committed to supporting students' progress and examination successBe committed to safeguarding children and young peopleProvide details of the two most recent references, covering the last five years' work historyPossess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of registrationBe willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy the required safeguarding and compliance checks Why Work with Rotherwood Education?
