ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a skilled and reliable Tripper Driver with immediate effect for our client who continue to grow and dominate their market.
Start Date – Immediately
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage logistics effectively. The ideal applicant will have a background in commercial driving and possess mechanical knowledge to handle minor repairs and maintenance.
Duties
Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition. .Maintain accurate records of deliveries,Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. Requirements
Valid HGV driving licence.Proven experience in commercial driving, with a clean driving record.Knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.Willingness to work .A good understanding of logistics and route planning is advantageous.
