Belcan Engineering Services is expanding its engineering team in Derby and is looking for talented Product Definition Engineers (PDE) or Component Design Engineers to join us on a permanent basis. You'll become part of a highly experienced team that delivers world-class engineering solutions for some of the most advanced gas turbine programmes in the industry.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the development of innovative gas turbine components and subsystems, working on cutting-edge engine programmes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating detailed component and subsystem designs for advanced gas turbine engines.Supporting design release activities throughout the product lifecycle.Working through gated design review processes and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.Translating technical requirements into practical engineering solutions.Using industry-leading design tools including Siemens NX and Teamcenter.Contributing to challenging projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from engineers who have:
HNC, HND or Degree qualification in Mechanical, Aeronautical or a related Engineering discipline (or equivalent industry experience)Experience in Gas Turbine design within Aerospace or Power GenerationStrong capability in component and/or subsystem designExperience using Siemens NX and TeamcenterExcellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with customers and internal engineering teamsA collaborative mindset and a passion for engineering excellence
