Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to join a PE-backed business in Leeds that has just made it's first major acquisition.
This acquisition which is due to complete imminently in Leeds, will create an immediate requirement for a hands-on finance professional who can establish robust financial processes, integrate systems and provide high-quality financial reporting from day one.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of the finance function and be responsible for implementing new financial controls and set of management accounts.
Other duties will include:
Implementing Xero and ensuring finance systems are fit for purposeProducing monthly management accounts from scratchEstablishing financial controls and governance processesImproving the quality and timeliness of management informationProviding accurate financial insight to support decision-making The Ideal Candidate
Immediately available and able to start at short noticeExperienced Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Interim Finance LeadStrong knowledge of Xero implementation and process improvement beneficialProven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment Salary & Benefits
