We are recruiting for a Nurse Support to join our team at Autumn Grange Care Home, based in Creswell, S80.
Autumn Grange offers specialist nursing care and support for up to 53 people. As a Nurse support, you will oversee care delivery, supporting the senior care and nursing team by allocating tasks and ensuring high standards of care at all times.
Position Details:
Schedule: Rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
Hours: Full-time opportunity, working 3 nights per week (33 hours)
Shift times: 18:45-07:00
Rate of pay: up to £13.84, depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Creswell, S80
Required: NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
What you will be doing: This is not an exhaustive list.
Allocate staff as requested to ensure an effective skill mixOversee the diary for each shift, communicating with external healthcare professionals as required, whist supporting the Registered Nurse to update and write risk assessments and care plans, ensuring staff are aware of any changesMaintain communication between visitors and nursesManage medications, enquiring with the pharmacy, GP’s and other external health teams as neededDeliver personal care as appropriate to clients’ needsAssist the care staff with personal care, fluid and dietary intake, pressure area relief and checks. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of care delivery at all timesComplete checks for relevant documentation ensuring all information is recordedCommunicate with the nurses regularly throughout the shift What we offer: Alongside a competitive hourly rate, we offer the following benefits:
