£24.62 per hour PAYE or £32.17 per hour UmbrellaLocations: Twickenham or WandsworthWorking Arrangements: Hybrid Working, 3 days per week in the officeContract: 3 Month Temporary Assignment (Likely Extension) Adecco are recruiting on behalf of our Local Authority client for two HR Generalists to join their team on a temporary basis.
As part of an ongoing organisational transformation programme, the HR team requires additional support to help manage day-to-day HR operations and relieve pressure on the Transformation Business Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HR professionals who can quickly integrate into a busy environment and make an immediate impact.
The Role
We are seeking proactive and adaptable HR Generalists who can hit the ground running and provide broad HR support across a variety of activities. You will work across the employee lifecycle, supporting managers and stakeholders with operational HR matters while ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Providing generalist HR advice and guidance to managers and employeesSupporting employee relations matters, including absence, performance and disciplinary processesAssisting with recruitment, onboarding and workforce administrationSupporting organisational change and transformation activitiesManaging HR cases and ensuring accurate documentationMaintaining employee records and HR systemsWorking collaboratively across HR and transformation teamsResponding to a variety of operational HR queries and priorities About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a broad HR Generalist positionStrong understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment legislationExperience managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to work independently with minimal supervisionA flexible and proactive approachExperience supporting change or transformation programmes is desirable If you are an experienced HR professional looking for your next interim opportunity and can quickly add value within a busy HR function, we'd love to hear from you.
