About this role
Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail with warehouse recruitment at the Glasgow Mail Centre G21 1AA. We’re currently looking for reliable Mail Sorters who are available to work a range of shifts.
This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy mail and parcel operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sorting and scanning mail and parcels Loading and unloading mail, parcels and pallets Moving mail around the warehouse Preparing mail and containers for despatchKeeping your work area safe and organised What We’re Looking For
No previous experience is needed as training is provided. You’ll need to:
Be available to work earlies, lates or night shiftsBe reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentBe happy standing and walking for long periodsBe able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kgBe comfortable switching between different warehouse tasks Pay Rates and Hours of work
Early Shift - 02:00 – 08:00 (£15.14 per hour)Late Shift - 17:00 – 22:00 (£15.14 per hour)Night Shift - 23:59 – 08:00 (£16.44 per hour) Why Join?
