Job SummaryYou will serve as an Aircraft Production Manager in the Production Branch of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Production Division of the Aircraft Department of FRCMA.

QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION MANAGER performing some or all of the following duties:1) Utilizing experience in trade skills related to aircrafts and/or components to modify manufacturing processes, procedures, and tolerances; 2) Managing employees across all trades and labor occupations and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in aviation maintenance and aviation maintenance management; 3) Planning and directing work to be completed by subordinates, while managing funding, manpower, and long range production plans; 4) Developing improved aviation maintenance methods and processes to increase efficiency and quality; and 5) Managing production requirements as outlined in the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), to ensure deadlines are met within budget. Major DutiesYou will manage employees across all trades and labor occupations and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in aviation maintenance and aviation maintenance management.You will use your expert knowledge of aviation maintenance principles, concepts, regulations, and maintenance management.You will plan and organize work, supervise staff, and lead projects involving multiple funding sources, staffing needs, and long-term production planning.You will use your knowledge of production requirements from the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and understand how Fleet Readiness Centers (FRC) help meet those needs.You will use your consultative skills to develop and implement new ideas, principles, and methods in aviation maintenance management.
