Interim Commercial Finance Manager – Sheffield – Up to £70,000
Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with a large, established manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Interim Commercial Finance Manager for an ongoing assignment.
This is a key role within the finance function, offering a broad remit across commercial finance, management and financial accounting, business partnering, financial controls and process improvement. Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance, you will work closely with senior commercial and operational stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting effective business decision-making.
The Role: Acting as a financial lead across management and financial accountingBusiness partnering with key commercial stakeholders, providing insight and explaining financial performanceProviding commercial decision support to aid effective business decisionsManaging and developing a team of four direct reportsTaking ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations and financial controlsConsolidating financial forecasts and providing clear analysis of actual and forecast variancesContinuously reviewing and improving financial systems, controls and processesSupporting the Head of Commercial Finance and deputising when requiredSupporting wider business change and finance improvement initiativesChallenging existing processes and working practices to improve efficiency and effectivenessBuilding strong relationships with internal stakeholders and relevant external partiesSupporting ad hoc commercial and finance projects as required The Ideal Candidate: A qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA or ACAStrong experience within commercial finance and/or finance business partneringGood knowledge of financial controls, compliance and IFRSStrong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse information and provide meaningful insightPrevious experience managing and developing a finance teamAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsA proactive approach with the ability to challenge, influence and drive improvements The Benefits Car Allowance35 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)Ongoing interim assignmentHybrid workingSenior and influential role within an established manufacturing environmentBroad exposure across commercial and operational financeOpportunity to contribute to business change and finance process improvements If you are interested in this Commercial Finance Manager role, please apply now.
