Your new role Large PE-Backed Business | PermanentAre you an experienced Accounts Payable professional ready to take the next step into a supervisory role?We're recruiting for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a large, fast-paced, PE-backed organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the AP function while supporting and developing the wider team. Daily duties:
Supervise and support the day-to-day Accounts Payable teamOversee high-volume invoice processing and supplier paymentsEnsure invoices are accurately coded, approved and processed within agreed timescalesManage supplier statement reconciliations and resolve complex queriesSupport payment runs and cash management processesMonitor team workloads, performance and AP KPIsBuild strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls and efficiencySupport month-end reporting and reconciliationsAssist with wider finance transformation and improvement projects What you'll need to succeed You'll have strong Accounts Payable experience, ideally gained within a large or high-volume environment, with previous supervisory, team leader or senior AP experience.You'll be confident managing competing priorities, resolving complex queries and supporting a team through periods of growth and change.We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in improving processes.
