As a Veterinary Nurse at Hoppers Crossing, you'll be involved in all aspects of nursing and patient care while working closely alongside our veterinarians and clients.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and proceduresSupporting our Team-Based Care approach through nurse consulting and client communicationSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceMonitoring anaesthesia and patient recoveryMedical nursing and hospital patient careCollecting and processing pathology samplesAdministering medications and treatmentsMaintaining clinic hygiene and equipmentSupporting reception and administrative duties when requiredEducating clients on preventative healthcare and patient careHelping create a welcoming and positive experience for every client and patientAbout You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds (or is working towards) a Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingEnjoys talking with clients and building strong relationshipsHas a genuine passion for customer service and patient careIs friendly, approachable, and confident communicating with peopleLoves being part of a team and contributing to a positive cultureIs adaptable and willing to learnBrings a positive attitude and strong work ethicVeterinary nursing experience is welcomed but not essential. We are happy to support the right person to further develop their practical skills, as we firmly believe technical skills can be taught, but a great attitude and team fit are invaluable.
