About this role
We are a contracting firm working in the Baltimore and DC Metro areas and surrounding counties specializing in high end award winning projects including theaters and complete renovation and remodeling projects.
We are looking for a Lead Carpenter to assist our Gramophone Design & Build team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
FramingDrywallFinish carpentry (including installation of trim/millwork, custom moulding, wall panels, case work and cabinetry)Door installationCrown mouldingInstallation of vinyl plank flooringMinor demolition on some projects
10 or more years experienceAbility to read and understand building plans and specificationsExperience with all of the job responsibilities listed aboveTop quality workmanshipGood problem-solving skillsAbility to manage and motivate othersEffective communication with subcontractors, material suppliers and division managerTime management is crucial for timely project scheduling and completionREQUIREMENTS
Own basic carpentry hand tools to be used on job sitesDriver's LicenseDrug Test
