What will you be doing ?
We are looking for an experienced Regulatory HR Specialist to join our team in London on a 6 month FTC. You will be responsible for supporting the Regulatory HR Manager in the management and oversight of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime and other regulatory body management while continuing to develop and support the relevant regulatory policies and procedures.
As Regulatory HR Specialist, your responsibilities will include among others:
Understand and maintain knowledge of the regulatory requirements related to the SM&CR and translate requirements into practical and effective SM&CR policy and proceduresOversee the certification activities necessary for all certified persons and ensure that these are completed in an accurate and timely manner and that team members are appropriately certified for the activities that they carry outManage internal and external data records including updates to internal HR systems and FCA directory updatesAssist with the management of the annual recertification processUnderstand and maintain knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) Financial Services and Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) Financial Services individual requirementsUnderstand and demonstrate ability to manage Competence related registrations with the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI), Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) To be successful in this role, you should:
Proven SM&CR experience Ideally within an HR of Compliance FunctionExperience of working in an FCA regulated environment with a good understanding of SMCR requirementsAbility to develop effective working relationships at all levels across the Group and in particular with senior managementAbility to think commercially and apply knowledge pragmaticallyHigh degree of accuracy and excellent communicator both verbally and in writingNumerate with good IT skillsDesired:
