We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Iron Horse Inn buzzing and loved by the locals.
Located in the heart of Cardiff, the Iron Horse Inn is a true local favorite for families, sports fans, and everyone in between. Our welcoming pub features a lively Sports Bar with large screens, great tap beers, and a menu full of hearty pub classics. A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crewSupport the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibeLearn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legendsHandle hiccups before they turn into headachesBring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shiftInherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervisingYou’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step upYou’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is awayYou’ve got a current RSA, RCG and ARCG as per state requirementsIf you’re keen to learn, lead, and laugh while making this pub the best spot in town – we’d love to hear from you.
