We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator - Structures to join our innovative team in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for structural engineering projects, ensuring efficient and accurate 3D model development and integration.
Lead and coordinate BIM processes for complex structural engineering projectsImplement and maintain robust quality control systems for BIM deliverablesSupervise and manage a team of BIM professionals, fostering a collaborative work environmentReview and validate the work of CAD/BIM delivery teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standardsParticipate in cross-functional coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and optimize project outcomesContribute to the development and improvement of company-wide BIM systems and proceduresEnsure adherence to health & safety, quality, and training policies within the BIM teamCoordinate closely with other disciplines, including Architecture, MEP, and Façade teamsEstablish and maintain efficient job drawing filing systemsGuarantee compliance with industry and company-specific BIM/CAD standardsProvide technical guidance and support to team members on BIM software and best practicesStay updated on the latest BIM technologies and methodologies, implementing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering Modeling and DetailingExtensive knowledge of Structural Concrete & Structural Steel Modeling & DetailingAdvanced proficiency in 3D modeling and review tools, including Revit Structures, Tekla, AutoCAD, and NavisworksStrong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practicesProven experience in project management and team leadershipExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teamsAnalytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in implementing and maintaining quality control systems for BIM projectsFamiliarity with BIM execution plans, LOIN Matrix, MIDP, and other relevant BIM documentationKnowledge of high-rise building systems and mixed-use building structuresAbility to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings and coordinate effectivelyExperience in setting up projects according to client and industry requirementsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management toolsKnowledge of Dynamo and Python programming is a plusCommitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging BIM technologies
