About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Utility Inspector to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing utility inspection processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing on-site teams to maintain the integrity of utility systems.
Conduct thorough inspections of utility installations, including water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications systemsSupervise and coordinate inspection teams to ensure efficient and accurate completion of projectsReview and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specificationsEnsure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standardsIdentify and report potential issues or deficiencies in utility installationsCollaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issuesPrepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentationImplement and enforce safety protocols on job sitesProvide guidance and training to junior inspectors and team membersStay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the utility sector Diploma in Civil/Architectural Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in utility inspection or a related fieldProven experience in site supervision and team managementIn-depth knowledge of utility systems (water, gas, electricity, telecommunications)Proficiency in utility inspection techniques and proceduresStrong understanding of safety regulations and standardsExcellent ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprintsAdvanced problem-solving and decision-making skillsOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in relevant software, including CAD and project management toolsRelevant certifications in utility inspection or safety (e.g., OSHA certification)Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in KuwaitAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
