We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Design Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities to join our growing engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will leverage Building Information Modeling technology to design, coordinate, and optimize wet utilities systems for infrastructure and building projects. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to design standards.
Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for wet utilities systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewerage networks using industry-standard softwarePerform detailed design analysis and modeling of wet utilities infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Indian plumbing codes and relevant standardsCoordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to identify and resolve design conflicts and clashesCreate accurate technical drawings, specifications, and documentation from BIM models for construction and implementationConduct quantity takeoffs and material assessments from BIM models to support cost estimation and project planningUtilize coordination software such as Navisworks to manage and present clash detection reportsParticipate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for optimization and constructabilityMaintain organized project files and ensure BIM model integrity throughout project lifecycleCollaborate with project managers and site teams to address design-related queries and modificationsStay current with BIM standards, wet utilities design best practices, and emerging technologies in the field 2-5 years of professional experience in BIM design, wet utilities engineering, or related infrastructure projectsAdvanced proficiency in Revit MEP or equivalent BIM modeling softwareStrong knowledge of wet utilities systems design, including water supply, wastewater, and drainage systemsProficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling techniquesSolid understanding of Indian plumbing codes, standards, and regulatory requirementsExperience with clash detection and coordination workflows in BIM environmentsExcellent technical drawing and documentation skillsFamiliarity with Navisworks or similar project coordination software (preferred)Experience with quantity takeoff and cost estimation from BIM models (preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skill setExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective communication and collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical deliverables
