We're looking for an experienced Senior BIM Designer specializing in bridge and transportation infrastructure to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead the development of comprehensive Building Information Models for complex bridge and transportation projects, ensuring seamless coordination across all disciplines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and innovation. You will be instrumental in driving BIM strategy, mentoring junior team members, and delivering cutting-edge design solutions that optimize project outcomes.
Develop and manage detailed BIM models for bridge and transportation infrastructure projects using industry-leading software and best practicesCoordinate with structural engineers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure clash-free, integrated models and resolve design conflictsPerform advanced 3D modeling, visualization, and analysis to support design optimization and constructability reviewsEstablish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and documentation procedures across projectsConduct clash detection and coordination meetings, identifying and resolving conflicts before constructionLead BIM implementation strategies and mentor junior designers on modeling techniques and project requirementsPrepare comprehensive BIM deliverables including models, drawings, schedules, and coordination reportsAnalyze design data and provide recommendations for cost and schedule optimizationCollaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure BIM objectives align with project goalsStay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry standards in transportation and bridge design 8+ years of professional experience in BIM design and modeling, with a minimum of 5 years focused on bridge or transportation infrastructure projectsAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks or equivalent BIM softwareDemonstrated expertise in 3D modeling, clash detection, and multi-disciplinary coordinationStrong knowledge of bridge design principles, structural systems, and transportation infrastructure standardsExperience with BIM coordination protocols, standards, and best practices (ISO 19650 or similar frameworks)Proven ability to lead BIM teams and mentor junior staff membersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplinesExperience with project management tools and documentation systemsFamiliarity with Indian construction standards and transportation infrastructure requirements (preferred)Knowledge of quantity takeoff, cost estimation, and schedule integration through BIM (preferred)
