Senior Cost Control @ Egis Group

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Cost Control professional to join our organization in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs across projects and departments. The ideal candidate will develop and implement effective cost management strategies while maintaining meticulous financial records and providing actionable insights to drive organizational efficiency.

Monitor and analyze project and departmental expenditures to identify variances and cost overrunsDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cost control strategies and proceduresPrepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts for management reviewManage departmental budgets and ensure adherence to approved financial allocationsIdentify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvementsCollaborate with department heads and project managers to establish and monitor cost targetsMaintain accurate cost records and documentation in compliance with organizational standardsConduct financial audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of cost dataAnalyze cost trends and provide recommendations for optimizing resource allocationSupport the development of pricing strategies based on cost analysis and market conditionsPrepare presentations and reports communicating cost control findings to senior management Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, cost control, or financial analysisStrong proficiency in cost accounting principles and methodologiesAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modelingProficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trendsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reportingSolid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficientlyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred: Experience with project cost management and cost control in matrix environmentsPreferred: Knowledge of lean cost management or continuous improvement methodologiesPreferred: Experience conducting internal audits or financial reviewsPreferred: Familiarity with cost estimation and cost-benefit analysis techniques
