About this role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Structure Transportation specialist to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination and logistics for structural transportation projects. You will work collaboratively with engineering teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure efficient and organized delivery of structural components while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and safety.
Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for structural transportation projects using industry-standard software and toolsCoordinate structural modeling with design and construction teams to ensure seamless integration and clash detectionAnalyze transportation logistics and plan optimal routes for structural component deliveryPrepare detailed BIM documentation, reports, and visualizations for project stakeholders and regulatory complianceManage BIM data organization, version control, and documentation standards across all project phasesCollaborate with structural engineers and logistics coordinators to optimize transportation planning and schedulingConduct quality assurance reviews of BIM models to identify and resolve discrepanciesSupport project teams in utilizing BIM data for construction sequencing and site logistics planningMaintain organized project files and ensure efficient data management throughout the project lifecycleCommunicate technical findings and recommendations to project teams in a clear and structured manner Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and NavisworksStrong knowledge of structural design principles and construction methodologiesExperience with transportation logistics planning and coordinationProficiency in AutoCAD and other design softwareDemonstrated experience in BIM coordination on construction projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesKnowledge of construction standards and building codes relevant to structural projectsExperience with project management software and collaboration platformsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently in a team-oriented environmentFamiliarity with Indian construction standards and local project requirements (preferred)Experience in clash detection and model coordination (preferred)
