About this role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team in Mirfield, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth warehouse operations through accurate inventory management, careful handling of goods, and organized stock control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments according to warehouse procedures and safety protocolsAccurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch using warehouse management systemsMaintain organized and clean warehouse spaces, ensuring all items are properly stored and easily accessibleConduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracyOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficientlyMonitor stock levels and alert management to low inventory or discrepanciesLoad outgoing shipments onto vehicles and ensure proper documentationFollow all health and safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents immediatelyCollaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlinesMaintain accurate records of warehouse activities and transactions Essential
