ROSEVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS Roseville, Michigan PLEASE POST ALL BUILDINGS Notice of Position Available Special Education Aide Deaf and Hard of Hearing Work Year/Hours: 10-1/2 months - Up to 7 hours plus 30-minute lunch/day Location: Dort Elementary Start Date: 2026/2027 School Year Salary: $17.97 - $19.44 in 3 steps Minimum Qualifications:
• Proficiency in sign language is not required but would be preferred.
• Some college required.
• Successful experience working with students.
• Ability to accept and work with a wide range of student behaviors.
• Good physical health.
• Record of excellent attendance.
• Such additional or alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Board of Education.
Sample Job Duties:
• Work at the direction of the teacher to assist and supervise students.
• Assist with management of student behavior.
• Assist in lunchroom program.
• Assist in reinforcing programs set up for special problems.
• Dispense medication as may be assigned.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
