Within the organization, this position is known as a Sector Director. You give direction to the sector's policy. The Executive Board member is the public face of the sector. Within the national secondary education sector, you work on policy, combining legal knowledge with strategic insight and representing the interests of our members, including at the national collective labour agreement table. What are you going to do? In this position, you work together with the member of the Executive Board of the Secondary Education sector. Within the national Secondary Education sector, you focus on policy regarding, among other things, employment conditions, educational content, and labor market policy. You coordinate this and act as the link between the active members of the association and colleagues in the operational organization. You conclude the collective labor agreement together with the relevant member of our Executive Board. You know all the intricacies, liaise with other unions, and act as the driving force. You: - provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the member of the executive board of your sector; - participates in collective labor agreement negotiations and administrative consultations and represents the organization externally; - writes policy documents, advice, reports and notes for decision-making; - identifies and analyses developments in education and the labor market and translates these into concrete policy proposals...
