The day to day:
Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services when necessaryAssist with food running, ensuring that plates arrive to the proper guest (no auctioning)Monitor the cleanliness of section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutterCommunicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seatingPractice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as requiredEnsure that condiments are pre-portioned and the fridges are stocked with milk, cream, butter etc.Monitor food quality and presentation standardsFollow all food safety standards and systemsEmpty garbage, change linen bags and dispose of garbage and recyclingCommunicate to all Servers any comments or information provided by guests to ensure a positive, memorable experienceOther duties as assigned or required Valid Smart Serve Certification, required.6 months- 1 year previous experience in a fast paced restaurant environmentHigh attention to detailAbility to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take direction and prioritizeStrong oral communication skillsHigh level of product knowledgeAbility to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentumEvent Night Availability - able to work all Oilers Home Games & Concerts in Rogers PlaceLegally eligible to work in Canada This is a current vacancy.
Wage: $15 /hour (+ shared gratuities)
