If you're keen to start a career in Mine Processing, this could be the perfect entry-level role for you. Our Macraes Process Plant are on the search for a Reagent and Services Operator.
This position will be responsible for operating and optimising the process plant Reagent Mixing and Services circuit in accordance with critical operating sheet, training manuals and standard operating procedures. Additionally, you'll be identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing approved changes.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Completing all relevant documentation to ensure accurate record keeping e.g. log sheets, logbooks and checklists.Mixing reagents and adding media to mills as required. Report all unrectified variances to the Shift Coordinator in a timely manner.Ensuring the dams meet the required standards and completing daily checklists.Actively participating in all professional development and continuous improvement activities, including operating plant areas when requiredLiaising with other operators, gold room staff and plant personnel to minimise downtime.Effectively completing a handover with incoming/outgoing area operators each shift. Ensure all relevant information is communicated.Assisting with mechanical/electrical/ metallurgical/ services/gold room tasks as required ensuring maximum availability of the Processing Plant. This includes general tasks, screen changes, autoclave, mill and floation inspections, pipeline repairs and service area inspections. Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferredOSH approved Forklift license, or similar would be well regardedCurrent New Zealand work rights are required for this positionExperience:
