About this role

As an Assistant Manager, KYC, You will co-lead the KYC Team with the support of the Manager and assist the Guernsey Funds business by co-ordinating the seamless on-boarding of investors as well as maintaining a high level of support to the Fund Administration teams for BAU.

What you'll do

You'll develop and maintain strong relationships with fund administrators, investment managers, investors, intermediaries, administration teams, and other key stakeholders, delivering a high standard of client service while balancing commercial objectives with AML/KYC, regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirementsYou'll attend and actively contribute to board meetings, provide updates on AML/KYC matters, investor onboarding progress, remediation projects, and regulatory developments, and build trust and credibility through clear, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.You'll drive and oversee the investor onboarding process, communicating directly with investors and their representatives to resolve complex due diligence requirements, manage onboarding timelines, coordinate risk profiling, risk ratings, periodic reviews, and regularly report on progressYou'll ensure all investor information is accurately collated, recorded, reviewed, and maintained in a timely manner, support the review and sign-off of normal and low-risk investor files where required, and ensure onboarding activities are delivered in line with contractual, legal, regulatory, and best-practice standardsYou'll work closely with the wider Funds business, Compliance teams, and Senior Management to identify, escalate, and manage risks and issues, while providing guidance, training, and development support to junior KYC team members across jurisdictions and promoting a collaborative, proactive approach to the investor acceptance processWhat we offer
