About this role
Checking in and checking out patients Answer incoming calls, route clinical questions to staff, and relay messages promptly. Schedule dermatology visits and procedures accurately across provider calendars. Maintain patient demographics, referrals, forms, and medical records in the EMR/PM system.Verify insurance eligibility and referral requirements before visits; escalate authorization needs.Collect copays and balances, issue receipts, and reconcile front desk transactions.Coordinate with clinical staff on patient flow, late arrivals, and schedule changes.Protect patient information and follow office privacy and documentation procedures. At least one year of medical front desk experience in a multi-provider practice. Working knowledge of EMR/PM systems, appointment scheduling, and insurance eligibility. Clear, courteous communication with patients, providers, and coworkers. Accurate data entry, cash handling, and attention to detail in a busy office. Ability to manage competing priorities and protect confidential patient information.

Full-timeHours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm and one Friday morning per month.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year Medical office experience in a multi-provider practice
