This role is based Ha Phan Building Office.
The Assistant PR& Event Manager is responsible for designing and delivering the product / event in support of Senior Event Manager. Through a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs and develop the long-term Event design, through both responding to existing customer feedback and identifying new and innovative opportunities to improve the Event. Will support the management of the P&L of a specific event, while supporting with the financial, operational and customer performance of each product. Working alongside Sales, Marketing and Operations, Assistant PR & Event Manager will ensure all elements are aligned to create a successful Event.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Media/Content Management:
Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and pitch storiesWork with PR agency to organize press conferences and media interviewsMonitor media coverageTrack PR metrics including media impressions, sentiment, and share of voiceAnalyze campaign effectiveness and provide insights2. Event and Buyer Development:
Support the development of a Event’s strategy and direction, to enrich the value proposition Informa Markets providesDevelop and improve the customer experience at each Event, ensuring feedback is collated and incorporatedSupport Senior Event Manager in monitor of the side-event P&L, including successful conferences and seminarsLiaise with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure all elements of the conference/ seminars are in alignment to create successful eventNegotiate with venues and suppliers together with Operations and Procurement for Event specific requirementsBuild relationships with key buyers, associations to understand both specific and wider market needs, feeding trends / issues back into Event strategyDevelop deep industry knowledge through personal relationships and market analysisWork with Senior Event Executive to develop data of key buyers for the event in line with event KPIs Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, or Business...5 - 7 years in Event development and relevant PR experienceStakeholder Management: Associations, Buyers, Media, Government bodies.Strong communication and follow-through skillsAbility to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders and other functions to ensure successful implementation of a matrixed business modelRequired travel approximately 20 - 30%Strategic Thinking: Market research, Trend analysis, Opportunity identificationWilling to work under pressure and tight schedules, especially during peak event season.Proactive attitude with a willingness to contribute beyond core responsibilities.Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office, Canva support tools We work hard to make sure Life at Informa is rewarding, supportive and enjoyable for everyone.
