About this role

This role is based in our 240 Blackfriars London office.

The Sales Compensation & Planning Analyst reports into Sales Planning & Compensation Manager, and supports the design, implementation, and administration of sales compensation programs and planning processes. This role focuses on process execution, and operational support to ensure accurate compensation calculations and effective sales planning. The position provides analytical support to sales leadership while maintaining compensation systems and contributing to planning initiatives under senior guidance.

Hands on experience working with Xactly and SQL is critical.

Hands-on experience with compensation systems and sales planning processesExposure to senior leadership and strategic planning initiativesSkill development in advanced analytics and process improvementCross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, Operations and Sales teamsKey Responsibilities

Sales Compensation Administration & Support

Support the design and testing of compensation plan changes and new incentive structuresMaintain compensation databases and ensure accurate payment processingProcess compensation inquiries and resolve calculation discrepanciesExecute and administer sales compensation plans including commission calculations and bonus processingProcess Support & System Maintenance

Execute standard sales planning and compensation processesMaintain data integrity in compensation and CRM systemsSupport system testing for compensation platform updatesCreate and update process documentation and user guidesAssist with training materials and user supportReporting & Analytics

Prepare regular compensation and sales performance reportsSupport ad-hoc analysis requests from sales leadershipMaintain KPI dashboards and performance tracking toolsAssist with month-end and quarter-end reporting processesProvide data validation and quality assurance supportSales Planning & Data Analysis

Support annual and quarterly sales planning processes including quota distribution and territory analysisAssist with territory mapping and boundary analysisSupport quota allocation processes and maintain quota tracking systemsAnalyze territory balance and performance metricsHelp manage territory realignments and quota adjustmentsMaintain territory assignment databases and documentation Core Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksExcellent communication skills for working with sales teams and stakeholdersProcess-oriented mindset with focus on accuracy and efficiencyAbility to work independently while supporting team objectivesTechnical Skills

Knowledge of Xactly or equivalent compensation software is essential and SQL experience highly desirableExperience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and data extractionStrong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysisBasic knowledge of business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)Understanding of database concepts and data managementProficiency in data visualization and reporting toolsEducation & Experience

Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field2-4 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or related analytical roleExperience with compensation calculations or financial analysis preferredBackground in data analysis and reporting We believe that great things happen when people connect face-to-face.
